How long can I store my Fresh and Easy meals in the freezer/fridge before I eat them?

All Fresh and Easy meal kits are packaged in an insulated box with cool gel packs to ensure that your food arrives fresh. You can store dairy and fresh produce in the refrigerator in the packaging and keep grains, vegetables, and canned goods in a cool and dry place. It is recommended that you consume poultry, ground beef, pork, turkey, and seafood in 1 to 2 days and steak or chops within 3 to 5 days.

What supplies will I need in my kitchen in order to prepare Fresh and Easy meals?

With the Fresh and Easy 5-minute premade meals and 15-minute meal kits, you will not require any kitchen supplies for preparation. All Fresh and Easy meals come with pre-cooked and pre-portioned ingredients inside an oven-safe tray - so all you need to do is either pop the meals in the oven or microwave or grill them depending on the recipe.

The Fresh and Easy meal plan offers a vegetarian option every other week. You can explore the vegetarian meal options from the weekly menu and choose one according to your taste profile. You can also customize any Fresh and Easy meal to substitute plant-based proteins. The Fresh and Easy plan may not offer weekly vegan options, however, some of the vegetarian meals do qualify as vegan.

Does Fresh and Easy offer special diet meal plans?

Fresh and Easy meals do not cater to any specific diet plans such as Keto or Paleo. However, you do have the option of customizing some meals to substitute a different protein so your meal may qualify for these plans.

Can Fresh and Easy accommodate food allergies?

Fresh and Easy meals are prepared and packaged in a facility that is not certified allergen-free. Some ingredients contain food intolerance substances such as artificial sweeteners and colorants. They may also come into contact with ingredients from another meal that contain major food allergens including milk, eggs, peanuts, shellfish, etc.

Are Fresh and Easy meals healthy?

The Fresh and Easy meal plan makes a point of offering quick, delicious, and healthy meal options. You can choose from 3 different calorie-conscious meals each week with less than 625 calories per serving. You can also choose from 3 different carb-conscious meals with less than 35 grams per serving. You can find nutritional information for each meal at the bottom of each recipe as well as the recipe card that comes with your order.

Does someone need to be home when my Fresh and Easy box is delivered?

You do not need to be home to receive your Fresh and Easy meal delivery. The delivery driver will leave your order at your doorstep with no signature required.

What type of packaging do Fresh and Easy meals come in? 

All Fresh and Easy meals are shipped in a biodegradable, insulated box with ice packs to keep your food cool and fresh during transit.

Is Fresh and Easy shipping free?

Home Chef charges a $9.99 shipping fee for all its meal kits including Fresh and Easy. Depending on which state you live in, you may also have to pay a sales tax which is listed separately on your weekly order summary.

How can I pause or cancel my Fresh and Easy subscription?

Fresh and Easy gives you the flexibility to skip and edit your meals whenever you like. You can also cancel your subscription at any time, for as long as you need - simply log into your account, click on ‘Account Settings', and select the ‘Pause Subscription’ option.

What is the Fresh and Easy refund policy? 

If you would like to skip or reschedule your Fresh and Easy meal, you can do so by removing all the meals from your order before your scheduled weekly delivery on Friday at 12 pm CST. If you experience any issues regarding charges to your card, you can call or message the Fresh and Easy support team.
