Supplies Outlet Order Process

If you're an office manager at your place of work you're probably already familiar with Supplies Outlet. They service corporate buyers, government, and education. With their prices and selection though they'll meet the needs of just about anyone requiring printing supplies. We placed an order for ink refills on their site, and have documented the process for you, so you'll know what to expect when purchasing from them.

You have two options to easily search for the printer cartridge you need a refill on. You can either use the search bar along the top of the site, or, even more easily, select from the drop down menu of their Ink & Toner finder, to be immediately directed to a page of all relevant results.

Their value bundles will give you the most bang for your buck, but unfortunately we don't always run out of everything at once, so they do give you the option to purchase individual color & black refill cartridges as well. In our case we had depleted our office printer down to the last drop, so a value bundle was in order.

After adding the product to your cart you will be immediately taken to a page with your updated shopping cart. You can always continue to shop by going back to the homepage or simply typing what you need next into the search bar at the top of the page. Whenever your cart is full you can proceed to checkout. An important first step though is to enter a coupon code for Supplies Outlet into the box on the shopping cart page.

After you apply your coupon code you'll see your discount as a line item on the order. If you're satisfied with what you'r purchasing, and the discount you're getting, you can now proceed through the checkout process.

Supplies Outlet offers a very streamlined one page checkout. All your data is secured by Norton, so you don't need to be concerned about data theft. The first step of the checkout process is to enter your billing information. Notice at the bottom the offer to opt in to receive special mailers for Supplies Outlet. If you are likely to need to reorder from them again in the near future it's worth receiving promotional mailers, since they may help you save money, and can alert you to special limited time deals.

In the next part of the checkout process you'll be given the option to register, in order to save your information for future orders. Again, if you believe you'll be ordering again from them in the future, this will save you time.

While most of us are billed to the same address as we'd ship to, this may not be the case. You can either enter the (different) shipping address, or with one click you can copy your billing address into the shipping information section. You'll also be given the option to select different shipping choices.

Unless you're in a big hurry to receive your order you can enjoy free shipping, which will arrive within 1 to 3 days, depending on where you are located. This is the option we chose.

Lastly, you'll need to fill in your payment information. This toner may be inexpensive, but sadly it isn't quite free.

Now that you've got all of the information filled in take one last look to make sure everything is as it should be in your cart, and then click the green button to place your order.

You'll know your order has gone through when you see a confirmation screen with your order number.

You shouldn't need to write this order number down though because you'll get a confirmation email as well within moments.

The order was placed on Thursday morning, November 5th. We received a shipping confirmation only about 12 hours later, and the order arrived on Monday morning, November 9th, a mere two business days later.
