Which Nolah mattress type is best?
While Nolah offers a variety of different mattress options to cater to different sleeping styles, the Nolah Original 10" is their best-selling and most versatile mattress option. This mattress offers unparalleled durability, unfailing pressure relief, body contouring, and highly effective cooling. Plus, this mattress comes with a premium Tencel™ cover. With this mattress, you'll be able to enjoy high-quality comfortability and support at an economically agreeable price point.
Which sleeping position is best for Nolah mattresses?
The Nolah mattress pairs up best with side sleepers. This is largely because the Nolah mattress was designed to provide pressure relief as well as body-contouring to anyone who sleeps on their side. You could also be in luck if you sleep on your back because the Nolah mattress offers plush cushioning.
COMFORT
Is a Nolah mattress firm or soft?
Nolah constructs their mattresses with their proprietary AirFoam™ layer which provides exceptional durability and comfortability. The mattress itself is said to have a medium-firmness feel, and rates at about a 5 on the 1-10 firmness scale with 10 being the most firm. You'll be able to enjoy notable contouring from head to toe.
Does Nolah provide back support?
Nolah's mattresses are great for back sleepers that need added support in the lumbar region. Specifically, the specially zoned coils located within Nolah's mattresses are able to lend additional support to high-pressure areas.
Does Nolah relieve pain?
Nolah's mattresses have made a name for themselves in the competitive mattress space by providing sleepers exceptional comfortability without sacrificing support in the process thanks to Nolah's proprietary AirFoam™. In fact, this AirFoam™ has been proven to provide up to four times the average amount of pressure relief when compared to that which is provided by other mattresses. Nolah's AirFoam™ is said to make things especially easier on the sleeper's hips and shoulders.
Does the Nolah mattress keep cool at night?
Nolah mattresses come packed with a proprietary AirFoam™ that doesn't contain any heat-sensitive viscoelastic chemicals. It's these very chemicals that are ultimately responsible for reacting to your body heat, and end up storing your body heat within the mattress. You'll be hard-pressed to find another foam mattress that is so effective at not holding onto your body heat.
MATERIALS
Nolah Construction
The Nolah mattress is made up of five different layers that work out to 15" for total mattress thickness. First, you have the High-Density Support Core. Next, are the 8" HDMax Eco Support Coils, which work together to make up the framework of the mattress. Then, the High-Resilience Foam. After that comes the AirFoamICE layer, which is a specially designed comfort layer to pull heat away from the surface. Lastly, is the ArcticTex Quilted Euro Top, which is a plush mattress topper that adds even more comfortability to the mattress.
What are Nolah mattresses made from?
All Nolah mattresses feature a multi-layer construction to maximize pressure relief and durability. The Nolah Original 10” and Signature 12” mattresses have layers of AirFoam™for unbeatable pressure relief and cooling.
The best-selling Evolution 15” Hybrid integrates a patented tri-zone support coil system to their cooling AirFoamICE™, presenting a mattress that provides optimal support, ideal cooling, and edge support that keeps sleepers from sinking in. The Evolution incorporates 7 layers into its design, all thoughtfully combined for the best sleep experience possible.
The Natural 11” and Nurture 10” latex hybrids are made of hand-crafted HDMax™ Tri-Zone™ support coils and hole-punctured all-natural Talalay latex layers for increased breathability and cooling.
Does the Nolah mattresses come in a box?
Nolah offers free shipping for their mattresses, and each Nolah mattress is delivered in a box.
Does Nolah need a special foundation?
While Nolah designs their mattresses in such a way that they can be placed directly on the floor, it's recommended that you support your Nolah mattress with a solid platform or solid box spring/foundation. You can also opt for a slatted base with slats that are no more than 4" apart.
Caring for your Nolah mattress
There are a wide array of ways that you can effectively clean your Nolah mattress. You can steam clean your mattress in short bursts, and make sure that you don't soak the mattress. You can mist your mattress with a bleach-free disinfectant spray. You can pour vinegar into a spray bottle, wait 10 minutes, and then blot the surface of the mattress with a dry rag. You can spray an enzyme cleaner on the stain and let it sit. Then, you simply blot the mattress with a damp rag and let it air-dry. Lastly, you sprinkle a 50/50 mix of corn starch and baking soda onto the mattress, allow it to sit for 30 minutes, and then simply vacuum the powder off the mattress.

Compare Nolah to Top Mattress Competitors
Nolah is an award-winning mattress company that has set itself apart from its competitors with its proprietary AirFoam™ material. This material is able to provide outstanding comfortability without sacrificing crucial support in the process, and thus the Nolah mattress is a great pick for anyone who is a side sleeper.
Nolah vs. Saatva:
Both Nolah and Saatva are great mattress options for hot sleepers, couples, and any sleeper who is looking for a soft mattress option. Both companies also offer a trial period and free shipping. However, Nolah is a cheaper mattress option than Saatva and is better for side sleepers. If you're a back sleeper, Saatva is a much better option for you as you work to find your ideal mattress.
Nolah vs. Puffy:
Puffy is a great price competitor with Nolah, however, it still ends up being a bit more expensive in the long run. Nolah is ultimately a better pick for mattresses for you if you're looking for a mattress that provides a nice memory foam feel, exceptional support, and minimal motion transfer if you're sharing your bed with your partner.
Nolah vs. Leesa:
Leesa focuses more on reducing pressure points by incorporating foam technology that contours to your curves. This could be a huge step in the right direction for anyone experiencing problems with side or back sleeping. However, Nolah beats Leesa when it comes to having a lengthier trial period, and is a better pick if you're looking for a bed-in-a-box mattress and a side sleeper who wants a softer bed that provides support.
